My favorite time period out of the whole school year is learning about Rome and Persia. Alexander the great was cool to learn about Aswell, because he was the best king of Rome at the time. I liked the stories of Rome invading Tunisia with the really interesting history behind it. Persia living off of Egypt and Rome was also an interesting thing to learn about. Persia was a small tribe colony setting up next to Rome. Egypt was below Rome and Persia usually staying humble and only fighting off others. The Roman history goes back almost 4,000 years ago. Rome’s population at its peak was estimated around 65 million+ people having one of the strongest armies in the world. In September 1980, Iraq invaded Khuzestan, initiating the Iran–Iraq War. While Iraq hoped to take advantage of Iran’s post-revolutionary chaos, the Iraqi military only made progress for three months, and by December 1980, the forces of Saddam Hussein had stalled. By mid-1982, Iranian forces began to gain momentum, successfully driving the Iraqis back into Iraq, and regaining all lost territory by June 1982. (By the way Iran is Persia its name was given western civilization rights) If we go back to Alexander the Great, we can see that his population was 2.1 million Having a very strong army invading Persia for resources then attacking more countries and colonies. All invading colonies and countries need to happen not everyone can live on their own without extra.
This is a perfect essay! Very perfect!
