it starts off with a boy and two girls Eren, Armin, Mikasa. They are best friends; they live in a city that has a 100 feet wall around it to keep safe from the titans a titan is a giant monster that eats humans a titan has never raided the city in over 10 years. Eren and Armin are close to each other Mikasa lives with her uncle and Armin has a rough childhood her mother died by getting eaten by a titan, and her dad is depressed, and drinks sometimes beating Armin. Eren has a full family, one day Eren goes to the wall with Armin and sees the wall guards are joking off not doing their job drinking and playing cards. Eren scolds the guards and says if a titan comes soon and there not a guard everyone will die, for there stupid decision not ringing the bell fast enough the buys push him off and say no titans are going to be coming to this city in a while Eren and Armin leave. later that day Eren goes to his house to sit down for dinner, he tells his mother, and father that he will become a fighter. To fight the titans the mother disagrees saying you could die fighting the father agrees saying he has a what it takes and will become a ruthless fighter against the titans the mother is outstand Ed and shocked. they when they finish dinner, they hear a bang they all go out to look and see a giant hand on the wall Eren instantly knew what was coming, the titan then the face of the titan is shown everyone starts running out the city Eren, got Armin, and Mikasa after the kids ran safely the adult men started to fight before the mother of Eren got out the house she was stopped by a titan willing to eat her, the titan puts it foot on the house and crushes the mom Eren is so down he starts to run close to his mother but before he could the titan picked up the mother and ate her whole Eren starts to feel something before he could do anything Armin grabbed his arm started to run out the city.
