The Medici Family was a wealthy Italian Dynasty family, they grew to the top of the prominence during the renaissance. The Medici Family was born in Mugello, Tuscany, Italy and became wealthy off of the banking system in 1397. The Family’s wealth helped them gain power of The Florence, an organization for the wealthiest and richest people in the world. The Medici were not just patrons of the arts but also collectors and creators. They amassed a vast collection of art and established the Uffizi Gallery, which remains one of the most famous art museums in the world. In 1569, The Family’s wealth was Pro founded when the Duchy of Florence was elevated. By late 17th century The Medici Family faced problems and the rule over Tuscany declined, the last Medici ruler was Gion Gastone and died in 1737. Despite the decline of The Medici Family the contributions of art, films, and literacy show what the Family did for Italy. The Family endures all its fails and declines but stays strong to the Culture and Patronage to its connection, the family left a mark for Europe from ruling over Tuscany to becoming one of the most important people in the Prominence.
