Week 6 essay.

The difference between rich and the poor, the Saxons were raised in England and grew up poor. The difference is that rich people have guards and palaces, living in a poor economy means people would steal from others. The son of the Saxons nick named “Wulf” because he only played outside in the woods they had publicly. Wulf soon befriended a rich kid with a king father. Wulf was struggling with his father working everyday overtime just to provide for his family by cents. His mother was finding different ways to provide and thought of getting a job but at the time women couldn’t work and the only job was construction or labor work in fields. The rich kid wasn’t rude or braggy about his money though. Wulf found he was like the rich kid, and they began to bond and became close friends. Eventually the rich kid introduced Wulf to his father. The king didn’t judge or be rude to Wulf he actually welcomed him and just asked to make sure he could watch his son not to get in trouble. Wulf was surprised because most rich people are commanding and indecisive, Wulf was used to the poor world. He would soon realize his world would turn around, the king would help the Saxons with their problems and in return Wulf will help the king, and his guards get a gem from a cave that oil diggers and other rich kings want. Another difference between rich and poor in early England is how you’re treated, and people will take advantage of you during the bankruptcy or struggle.
