My favorite book.

I don’t have a favorite book, but I read this book 1 year ago, it’s called “Be careful what you wish for.” It’s a goosebumps book, this book stands out though because it’s like its own book kind of. It has a great storyline and plot twist; the book starts off with a bullied girl talking to her friends about her bully and that she hates her for no reason. She wishes her bully would just disappear, after school when she was riding her bike and murmuring to herself about the bully she sees an old lady walking on the side of the street. The lady seems strange, like Shes carrying something the girl can’t make out what Shes doing. When she rides up to her, she sees the old lady holding an old crystal ball that fortune tellers use. It confuses her because why would an old lady be carrying that, the lady realizes her and says, “Hello little missy, how are you?” the girl says Shes good and asks what the ball in her hands is. The lady says it’s a crystal ball that genies use. The girl asks if the lady is a genie, and the lady calmly says, “Yes my dear of course.” the girl asks if she could have a wish as a joke because there was no way genies are real. The old lady says “sure”, and the girl wishes that her bully would disappear. But the old lady didn’t hear her say “Her bully” and thought she meant everyone disappears. Oddly enough the old lady says wish granted and smiles and they both go on their ways. The girl didn’t think anything of it and just brushed it off as an old lady joking with her, when the girl got home, she just ate dinner and went to bed. The next day it would be an experience for her, she woke up and went downstairs but weirdly her mother was missing and her dad. She thought her mom just went to the store and her dad went to work early, when she stepped outside and got her bike ready riding to school there was no cars in sight. She thought that was weird but maybe people just weren’t going somewhere right then, once she got to school it was even more weird not a car in sight. She walked inside and saw no kids, or teachers… she thought school was maybe cancelled today. After she rode into town knowing there has to be cars there, but certainly there was no one. Now she was going crazy, she thought she was in a dream or something but then she remembered the wish she made yesterday. She started crying thinking she removed everyone from the world, but then the old genie lady showed up behind her. and asked, “My dear what’s wrong?” the girl became shocked because if she removed everyone how is the old lady still here. The girl asked what happened and why everyone was missing, the lady said, “But you wished for this sweetie.” the girl realized the lady was a real genie and asked if she could bring everyone back, the lady asked why, and the girl said in a panic voice “Because I want the people back, I just want my bully gone.” The old lady thought and said, “To make it even I will bring everyone back, but your bully will stay.” The girl immediately accepted, and the girl woke up in her bed. She ran downstairs and found her mom cooking breakfast for her. The girl was hugging her crying being thankful her mother was back.
