Harry was awakened by his aunt in the early morning. Getting out of bed he gets dressed and walks into the kitchen. Mr. Dursley exclaims to Harry that he needs to clean the house today while they go and buy Dudley some things. Dudley is a young kid, chubby, and spoiled. harry didn’t like Dudley because he always bullies Henry. As they talk about what they’re going to do today, Dudley comes walking into the kitchen looking around for some breakfast and find’s henry eating a piece of bacon to which Dudley told Harry he can’t have any and took the plate for himself. The parents didn’t do anything because they both hate Harry but are keeping him for a special reason. When Dudley is getting ready for school, Harry stays home because Mr. and Mrs. Dursley don’t want to pay for Him to be in school. After the mailman delivered Mrs. Dursley some mail that if they keep Harry as their child than a legal guardian must pay for the child’s school. This made Harry’s life easier with no more early cleaning but made it to where Dudley can beat Harry up at school. With the help of Dudley’s friends, they grab Harry and beat him up hurting him pretty badly. Harry hated living with the Dursleys, and almost ran away many times but decided it’s better that he’s fed and that’s most important. Harry looked like the average kid medium tall, skinny and had what the Dursleys told him was a birth mark on his forehead. The shape of a lightning bolt, Harry knew a birth mark can’t be that big nor be on him for life in a clear image. The first few days of going to school had given him anxiety when someone approached him because Dudley always beat him up. After living with the Dursleys for all his life, he had had enough. He thought if someone seen a poor young boy, they might help him and give him a better life. One day he was getting ready for school and the mail came in as usual. It read on one piece of paper “To Harry” he was shocked because no one would ever write to him. As Harry told Mr. Dursley while he was drinking coffee Mr. Dursley spit his coffee all over himself. As he snatched the letter from Harry, he burned it, Harry was pleading with Mr. Dursley on why he burned it and what he thought it was. The next day 2 letters for Harry came in, Harry was even more shocked and on the front of it said “hide from others” now Harry was surprised because they knew Mr. Dursley found it and destroyed it. After Harry got the letter, he hid it in his small cardboard bed. The letter gave instructions on where to go. It led just down the street under a bridge. Once he arrived there was an 11-foot giant. Harry carefully walked to him asking if he’s been lettering to him. The giant named Hagrid laughed and said no Dumbledore has. Hagrid told harry that he was a wizard after Harry stood still confused saying he simply wasn’t. Hagrid handed him a letter exclaiming the invite to Hogwarts High school. Dumbledore appeared to be giving Harry a hand in inviting him to become the best wizard ever. And so, his journey began!
