There are small bugs about 2 millimeters. You would find most of them in the coldest period of the winter on the snow. You can find them at creeks and near trees. The males are the darker and the hiding one, when the female there brown and are in the open. They are a little hard to find though there small and you have to get on your hands and knees to just see it. They are cool, but to be honest, it would be a little boring if you have a job to be a bug archeologist. I learned all of this at Letchworth state park NY, if you ever want to learn about it too. There are many bugs like stoneflies, snow flies, and crane flies, etc. Most of them are resembling an actual fly and they are all pretty cool.
