My ant farm

How I started an ant farm was to getting a glass jar and getting soil. Then I put a smaller jar in the big one then I searched my front yard. And found red ants and picked them up it was not fire ants though. And after 2 days my mom closed the lid and killed them. The end I didn’t have the chance to observe my ant farm.
